Teresa L. Zuber

Teresa provides her clients in-depth, thoughtful legal representation, informed by over 30 years of litigation experience in a broad array of practice areas, including environmental, land use, real estate, commercial, professional liability, and constitutional law. Her current practice focuses in the areas of environmental, land use, and business litigation. She has considerable successful appellate experience and was the attorney of record in several published state and federal appellate opinions.
She is licensed to practice law in the States of California and New York, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California, the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. She has also served as a mediator for the Appellate Mediation Program for the Third District of California Court of Appeals.
Teresa’s legal practice is also informed by her education and background in the physical sciences. Before going to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and subsequently performed advanced research in magnetic resonance imaging at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she co-authored various publications, including a glossary for a comprehensive text on magnetic resonance imaging.
Teresa’s activities in the community have included serving as a volunteer judge for mock appellate arguments at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, acting as a guest lecturer on legal issues at law schools such as McGeorge, Duke University, and the University of San Diego, providing legal commentary for international, national, and local media, serving as a volunteer judge in middle and high school debate tournaments, and serving on the board of directors for the Alliance Française de Sacramento.
