Kathryn L. Patterson

Kathryn brings over ten years of litigation experience to the realm of land use, environmental law, and water law, representing both public and private clients. Kathryn’s experience includes motion practice, appeals, and writs of mandate and prohibition. She is comfortable advocating for her client in multiple forums – from the local planning department to the elected board of supervisors to the trial court level – Kathryn represents her clients at every stage of the process.
Kathryn focuses her strategic and tactical litigation skills on helping clients protect property interests, water supplies and other resources in matters involving the application of federal and state environmental laws such as the Endangered Species Act, water quality statutes, CEQA and NEPA.
Kathryn was recently named a “Rising Star” in Northern California Super Lawyer’s Lawyer, and is admitted to practice before all Superior Courts in the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Central, and Northern Districts of California.
